Invoice Automation
Problem
Running a one-person business (ZZP) means handling all administration yourself. Every invoice was created from scratch, payment deadlines were tracked mentally, follow-up reminders had to be sent manually, and past records were hard to find. Every part of the process was a potential failure point: easy to forget, impossible to scale.
Approach
Built a Python workflow that takes structured input (client, services, amount, due date) and handles the rest: generating a formatted invoice, logging it to a tracked ledger, and sending automated reminders at defined intervals before and after the due date. All invoices are filed consistently and are searchable.
Outcome
The entire invoicing process, from creation to follow-up, now runs itself. No more manual document creation, no forgotten deadlines, no awkward chasing. Administrative overhead dropped to near zero.
