Invoice Automation

Problem

Running a one-person business (ZZP) means handling all administration yourself. Every invoice was created from scratch, payment deadlines were tracked mentally, follow-up reminders had to be sent manually, and past records were hard to find. Every part of the process was a potential failure point — easy to forget, impossible to scale.

Approach

Built a Python workflow that takes structured input (client, services, amount, due date) and handles the rest: generating a formatted invoice, logging it to a tracked ledger, and sending automated reminders at defined intervals before and after the due date. All invoices are filed consistently and are searchable.

Outcome

The entire invoicing process — from creation to follow-up — now runs itself. No more manual document creation, no forgotten deadlines, no awkward chasing. Administrative overhead dropped to near zero.
